Party: Something Minecraft. Something Tractor. Something Lego.

Big Boy and Baby Boy celebrated their birthdays this month. We tried hard to think of a way to combine and celebrate their different interests.

Big Boy was in a Minecraft + Lego phase
Baby Boy was still in his tractor phase

So we got in touch with Bricks4Kidz in Petaling Jaya and gave them this brief: Something Minecraft. Something Tractor. Something Lego. For kids aged between 5 and 8.

And they came back with this specially designed package: Minecrafting with Construction Monsters (Model building include: bulldozers, dump truck, scissor lift, Minecraft character Steve, Minecart, and Creeper).

Sounds good enough for me! So one Saturday morning, we gathered at the 10 Boulevard outlet, and the Bricks4Kidz staff took it from there. They did the decor, the programme and the games, so basically there was little I had to do except take photos and chit chat. There was even a play yard with some Duplo pieces for the younger kids to play with. All the children were well and properly occupied until it was time to leave.

After they built their models, they proceeded to the Battle Station rooms where they got to use their Lego creations in various games.

Bricks4Kidz also provided party packs with a Lego minifigure and a small Lego set, as well as bonus Minecraft figure with a Polaroid photo of each child.

We then proceeded to Polpetta (located just down the same row) for lunch, with yummy meatballs and chicken rice balls, and cake-cutting.

The cupcakes by Sugar and Cream was also a clever combination of the party's theme.
A wonderful combination of all the boys' interests
The kids were given a paperbag mask that served as a goody bag too.
You can get the Minecraft mask printables from here, and the Lego ones here, I printed them on sticker paper, cut out the eyes and stuck them on overturned paper bags.

Everyone say "Cheese!"
I also printed out little Minecraft boxes to hold some of the treasures such as gold coins, chocolate Lego bricks and chocolate Lego mini figures as a "Thank You" gift for our guests.

Thank u for coming!
My customised printable. There's a little problem with the lid though, so I had to stick it down with a sticker.

So there it was. A relatively stress free, yet eventful and fun time with close friends to celebrate my beloved boys — who they are and who God is raising them up to be!
