Visit: National Science Centre

Our National Science Centre is one of the hidden gems in the Klang Valley. At RM3 per kid (and RM6 per adult), it's definitely one of the best value-for-money places to visit.

In the concourse, you're treated to an eye-catching aquarium, as well as a touch pool.

There is a fascinating science show 3 times a day (mostly conducted in BM, with a smattering of English).

Some of the exhibits may not be in good working order, but treat the whole science centre as one giant playground and you (and the kids) won't be disappointed.

One of the cheapest and largest kids' play area in town
Some of the fun exhibits (piano wasn't really in tune)
Solar-powered planes in the Aviation section
Stone xylophone (missing note 4)
The biggest surprise is the outdoor Science Wonderland — a hidden gem of a garden section, complete with playground, fitness workout equipment and wading pool. We went during the CNY holidays, and it was quite empty (but still generally well maintained).

This is definitely one spot we'll be spending more time at in the days to come. Have signed up for a family membership, which hopefully still allows us free access to hundreds of science centres worldwide under the Passport Program!
