Visit: Trip to Malacca

During the CNY hols, I decided to take the kids on a quick day trip to Malacca to visit an old friend.

On the way, we stopped by a lovely tree house, thanks to the hospitality of a mom I met on Facebook. The treehouse is a great work of art and labour of love, handcrafted by family and loved by children. It was recently transported from its original home in Batu Pahat to its new location in Malacca.

The slide is amazingly smooth. Even for me!

Boy tried his hand (and legs) at rope climbing.
We had lunch at Jonker Street, and the kids had a chance to a shoe maker at work on beautiful wooden shoes.

At my friend's place, they had a passion fruit grove in the backyard! Love seeing the life cycle of fruits, although none of them were ripe for eating yet.

After a fun-filled day and dinner, everyone piled into our van and fell asleep before we hit the highway.
